A visual redesign on an already dense shop.
PeppyShop is the official Swiss retailer for the Nailed By K brand, alongside professional Staleks Pro tools. The shop runs on Shopify and already existed, with its catalogue, its collections and its checkout flow: our work focused on the visual dressing, not the architecture of the site.
The starting point was therefore not a blank page, but an already dense catalogue: 556 products spread across 18 collections. The work consisted of making this density readable, within the existing Shopify theme. The collections page, given full-frame focus here at the client's request, offers a glimpse of this inheritance organised by family.
556 products, organised and readable.
The catalogue and its 18 collections already existed. The work focused on their visual dressing: a consistent banner and image for each collection, so that every product family stays identifiable without touching the architecture or the filters already in place.
- 556 products and 18 collections, inherited from the existing site and showcased rather than rebuilt.
- A visual banner per collection, giving each family a consistent entry point.
- The Semi-permanents collection, the densest at 282 shades, the main readability test case.
Nailed By K and Staleks Pro, in one shared identity.
The site carries two very different worlds: the polishes and gels of its own brand, Nailed By K, and the professional Staleks Pro tools. The challenge of the visual redesign was to make the two coexist within one graphic identity, without either one overshadowing the other.
- Nailed By K, the polish and gel world, pink and editorial in identity.
- Staleks Pro, the professional tools, treated with a more technical visual language.
- A shared graphic language across both brands, for a consistent experience from one collection to the next.
Redesigning within the theme's limits.
The checkout flow, the cart and the payment methods already existed in the site's Shopify theme. The visual redesign happened within that given frame, refining the presentation of each product without touching the sales mechanics already in place.
- The existing Shopify theme as the working frame, with its product page templates.
- A refined presentation of every product, within the limits of the theme.
- No rebuilding of the cart or the checkout flow, both already functional.
