Terms of use
These terms govern the use of the e-medias.ch website and of the free tools offered on it. They do not affect service contracts, which are agreed separately.
Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern access to and use of the e-medias.ch website, including the free tools made available on it. By browsing the site, you accept them.
If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Access and availability
The site is freely accessible, with no account required. We may develop it, suspend access or withdraw parts of it at any time, in particular for maintenance or security reasons.
Continuous availability is not guaranteed and no compensation is due in the event of an interruption.
Permitted use
You undertake to use the site in accordance with the law and not to harm its operation, its security or the rights of third parties.
The following are excluded in particular: mass automated extraction of content, attempts at unauthorised access, deliberate overloading of our services, and using our tools to analyse a website you are not entitled to test.
Free tools
The website, security, compliance, deliverability, domain and carbon footprint checks are provided as they are, for guidance, and rely in part on third-party services.
They replace neither a professional audit nor legal advice. Their use is capped per hour so that the service stays available to everyone.
Intellectual property
The site, its structure, its texts, its visuals and its code are protected and remain the property of e-Medias Group or its rights holders.
These terms grant you no licence, other than the right to consult the site and print extracts for your personal use.
Links to third-party websites
Outbound links are offered for convenience. We do not control the linked sites and accept no responsibility for their content or their practices.
Liability
We do everything we can to keep the site accurate and secure, without owing a result.
Within the limits permitted by Swiss law, our liability is excluded for indirect damage, loss of data or loss of profit arising from use of the site or its tools. Cases of gross negligence or intent are reserved.
Personal data
How we process your data is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may adapt these terms, in particular as the site or the legal framework evolves. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of e-Medias Group, in the canton of Jura, subject to any mandatory statutory jurisdiction.
